Let's talk about the role of LED plant light spectrum - UVA, blue-white light, red-white light, and far-red light

First, let's briefly introduce the role of these spectra:
Blue-white light: promote plant germination, root and leaf growth, increase plant growth rate, suitable for plant seedlings
Red-white light: promote plant flowering, make flowers larger and better quality, suitable for plant flowering period
UVA: increase active substances in plants, improve taste, increase medicinal ingredients, color and change plant morphology, low-light UVA, can be used when seedlings are young.
FR730nm (orIR): promote flowering and shading, together with 660nm, there is a dual-light gain effect. Accelerate the conversion of plant pigments, used in plant flowering period
As above, each spectrum may affect each other, and different experimental methods may lead to different conclusions.

Some people want to lower nitrate levels in vegetables, while others want to raise them. HAS School for Agriculture and Wageningen University carried out three simultaneous trials and discovered they could decrease or increase nitrate levels in the plants.
